Lifetime guarantee
If a bug turns up in our work, we fix it for free. The guarantee has no end date, so it still holds years later. This page spells out exactly what it covers and what it does not.
If something we built stops working, we make it right
The guarantee covers the work we built for you and handed over: your website, online store, portal or other solution. If any of it stops working the way it did at handover, we fix it for free.
A guarantee repair is always free, and no invoice for it will follow later.
Something breaks
Something that worked at handover stops working. For example, form messages no longer arrive or the cart will not let a customer finish an order.
Something does not work properly
A feature works, but not the way we agreed. A button leads to the wrong place, a calculation gives the wrong result or a page gets stuck after an action.
A visual defect
Text runs over the edge, an image is out of place or a page looks different than it should in a common browser or screen size.
The guarantee covers the solution you approved
Before a site or system goes live, you review it with us. You try whether everything meets your expectations and tell us if something needs changing. We only launch once you are happy with it.
That approved version is what the guarantee is based on. The guarantee keeps it working: we fix what has broken or what does not work the way you approved. Design, structure and logic are not redone under the guarantee, because those decisions were discussed together and reviewed before launch.
What the guarantee does not mean
Clear limits keep the guarantee fair for both sides. We help with these too, but as further development rather than a guarantee repair.
Rebuilding the system
The guarantee is not a promise to rebuild a site or system in full, draw a new design or change its structure. The solution you approved before launch remains the baseline.
New features and wishes
If you want to add something or do it differently, that is further development, not a bug. We always tell you the price beforehand.
Changes made by others
If someone else has changed the code, settings or content in the meantime, we first check where the bug comes from. If the cause is in our work, we fix it for free.
Changes in outside services
If your hosting, payment provider or another outside service changes its interface or terms, we help adapt your solution. That is further development, because the change does not come from our work.
Sometimes we fix things before you notice
If we discover something that could work better, we may now and then fix or improve it without you having to write to us.
That is our own choice, not a promise. Such an improvement does not mean the solution will be continuously reworked, and the baseline of the guarantee stays the same.
Getting a bug fixed in three steps
- 01
Write to us
Describe in a couple of sentences what happened: on which page, what you did and what you saw. A screenshot or a short video helps most.
- 02
We take a look
We check the bug and let you know whether the guarantee covers it. We usually reply within one working day.
- 03
We fix it for free
We make the fix and let you know when it is live. If the site is down or something is properly broken, we deal with it straight away.
Questions about the guarantee
How long does the guarantee last?
Indefinitely. The guarantee has no end date, so it still holds years later.
Does a guarantee repair cost anything?
No. If the bug comes from our work, the fix is always free.
What is the difference between the guarantee and further development?
The guarantee keeps the delivered solution working. Further development adds something new or changes what exists, such as a new feature or a different design. We always tell you the price of further development beforehand.
What if the bug appeared after someone else changed the site?
We check where the bug comes from. If the cause is in our work, we fix it for free. If it came from a later change, we tell you beforehand what fixing it costs.
